I just wanted to say thank you so much for the swim camp. It was tons of fun and even more informative than I could imagine. I learned a lot because of you two [Norbert Szabo and Marina Spadoni], I am looking forward to tomorrow’s butterfly day!

This was by far the best clinic my son attended. The clinicians talked about their own struggles and they were very relatable, especially for my teenage son. The information provided was extremely valuable, the clinicians completed each other and the atmosphere was lucrative and fun at the same time. My son came took a lot from the clinic and, as a matter of fact, wanted to go back right away to learn some more, so we bought a spot for December, in Effingham. He can’t wait to work again with Clark Smith! Amazing experience! Keep doing what you are doing for as long as you can. You guys basically gave a new set of ‘paddles’ to a teenager going through a rough patch. Now he cannot wait for his high school season to start.

Ella said this was by far the best one she has attended. This was just what she needed to get her mentally past a time she has been at for a year, tonight she broke her school Varsity record and had the time drop she’s been working toward for quite a while. She was mentally stuck, but these two did a great job getting her able to set her next goal. Thank you.
It was a ten-year-old record it’s still not what she wants it to be but it is a huge step closer, and she took over 3 seconds off her time since being at the camp two weeks ago (and 1.27 seconds off the old record).

The clinic went great. The swimmer/clinician ratio was perfect in my opinion. As a parent, I appreciated listening to the question and answer time also. Roland was wonderful with the kids. I also appreciated how they broke down the strokes and technique forms for the kids by showing them how it feels doing them wrong and how it should feel doing it the right way. Teaching them to swim smarter to be faster was great!
Gained confidence

My daughter felt she gained confidence and insight during this clinic. Backstroke is her weakest event, so the expert guidance she received was needed, and very appreciated. The coaches were excellent. Thank you!

The clinicians really did an incredible job this weekend. We have loved all of our clinicians at the other camps we have attended, but they really worked well with the kids in a way that was supportive and very well organized. We signed up last minute because my boys were not thrilled with doing a butterfly camp, but I am so glad we did it!
Thank you for the attention to COVID details. As a family that really needs to be careful due to risk of exposure, we felt very safe.

Clinicians were great!

Clinicians were great! They were polite and greet to parents when they see them in the morning. They were engaging with swimmers. They were good role model to the swimmers. My daughter and her teammates enjoyed the camp very much!
This was my daughter’s 2nd camp. She enjoyed both very much. On the first camp back in December for free style with Gary Hall, Jr. and Kim Vandenberg, she applied the techniques from that camp and improved so much on her freestyle. Her coach recognized the improvement. We hope that she will apply what she learned from this camp, backstroke, and improve her strokes. Thank you so much for coming to Irvine! We hope you will come back for breast stroke and butterfly!
